2005 REALTOR® of the Year

Gerri Cragnotti has been named  REALTOR® of the Year 2005.  The REALTOR® of the Year is awarded annually to a member of the Glendale Association for REALTOR®s who has demonstrated outstanding service to the Association, the real estate profession and the community.

Gerri’s career began in 1973 when, as a 1st grade school teacher and pregnant with her third child, Christopher, she persuaded the biggest Broker in town to hire her.  She soon proved to be no part-time REALTOR® and within eight years was the number one REALTOR® in the company.  She held that position for several years until leaving to form a new real estate partnership. During this busy time she was very active in Incarnation Church and various school organizations as her four children grew.

Preservation of Glendale’s architecturally significant neighborhoods, the Hoover High School Christmas Tour of Homes and Incarnation school are still her favorite projects.  Her expertise and skills were an integral part of the initial phase to create neighborhood Glendale Historic Districts.

The Americana on Brand soon to be in Glendale’s new town center was another project on which she worked diligently. That it was ultimately successful is due in no small part to her effort. Confident in the future of the community, she had the vision and stamina to sit through countless meetings, organizing and disseminating important information.

Gerri is passionate in her beliefs, energetic in her service to others, devoted to family, loyal to friends and considerate of her clients.  At present, she is the Owner/Broker of G&C Properties, a very successful and well-regarded local boutique Real Estate Company that specializes in representing Glendale’s character homes.
